This consortium connects Medieval and Early Modern scholars from a variety of disciplines, institutions, and career stages. With aims to inspire innovative research and develop collaborative projects along the Pacific Coast, we welcome those seeking to deepen our understanding of these time periods.

On November 14, 2026, PMEMC will host its first in-person consortium event. Scholars from the Istituto de storia e teoria dell’arte e dell’architettura (ISA), Stanford University, the University of California Davis, the University of California Irvine, and the University of Washington will present works in progress.
